The More You Search
Originally composed for a competition, this reflective piece for eight voices explores the idea of contentment. The opening solo evokes a sense of deep longing which swells and washes over the listener as the other voices join in. The searching that follows is brought to a conclusion when one realises that the missing piece was within them all along, as the melody that wandered at the beginning finds itself in the answer.
So still my heart, sleep my mind.
The less you search, the more you find.
