Representing earliest work available on this website, First Light was written as a student at the Elder Conservatorium of Music. Built upon a simple harmonic idea, the music builds and blossoms like the sun climbing above the horizon, and finally resolves as the new day is realised. Though they are both standalone pieces, I often consider this to be a counterpart to Sunset Storms.
